To make Monday forenoon a piffling sweeter, I take a new recipe for you lot. And it involves i of my favorite desserts…water ice foam.

If you've been around for a while, y'all probably already know that I dear ice foam. A lot. But this recipe isn't for just whatever kind of ice cream. Information technology's a recipe for my absolute favorite kind of ice cream (and hopefully yours besides)…Salted caramel!

Salted Caramel Ice Cream Recipe

Here'south how to brand your own…

Ingredients

-1.5 cups whole milk
-i cup heavy cream
-ane tbsp night brownish sugar
-1.25 cups of this salted caramel sauce / dulche de leche – recipe shared last calendar week
-one tsp salt (but if using a store-bought sauce)
-1 tbsp corn starch
-1 tsp vanilla

You lot'll also need:

Water ice cream maker // 2 quart sauce pan // Freezer-safety pans or containers // Whisk // Rut-safety spatula // Bowl (large enough to fit the sauce pan in with ice) // Water ice // Thermometer

Instructions:

one. Freeze the ice cream freezer bowl for 24 hours in advance. The basin must exist thoroughly frozen before beginning. Go on the freezer bowl in the freezer until the churning pace.

ii. Combine 2 tbsp of the whole milk with the corn starch and vanilla in a small bowl. Stir until smooth and set bated.

three. Combine the balance of the whole milk with the heavy cream, night brown carbohydrate, and salted caramel sauce in the sauce pan. Set aside. If using a store-bought dulce de leche, then add together ane tsp of salt. Don't do this, though, if yous are using our salted caramel sauce (run into recipe).

4. In the bowl, set an ice bathroom for the sauce pan. This volition exist used to chill the ice cream base afterwards.

5. Move the sauce pan with the milk mixture to the stove and cook on medium heat for five minutes, stirring constantly with a whisk.

Scoop the finished water ice foam into a bowl or waffle cone (my favorite) and y'all're practiced to go.
